This is just a simple side-dish for anything, really. Pasta, meat, potatoes, vegetables, baked dishes etc. I put a bit too much lemon, but it wasn't bad and it inspired me to make asparagus more often! Asparagus (washed, ends trimmed, chopped-- depends on what size you want)
Salt Pepper Lemon Juice Butter Put some butter in a saucepan and add the asparagus. Season with salt and pepper and add a squeeze of lemon juice. Let the asparagus cook until soft/ easy to prick and eat. Taste for lemon and seasoning.
